Hello everyone! This week’s DDPP was one of epic proportions. The laughing that everyone did in the midst of jumping around and feeling free was incredible! The mix was random to the max! This was just a skimpy collection from her fiancee’s computer because hers is on the fritz. DJ ELby scrambled at the last minute to make a mix from music she was not familiar with, and this is what she came up with!

Good week to you all! Last night DDPP had 4 new dancers come. Shout out to Ayala, Monica, Jen & Emily who trudged over the great Charles River to boogie on down with us! DJ RACHASAURUS REX did a bang-up job with her mix of “old school & new cool” music that threw us back to the ’90’s! These were the good old days of Lisa Lisa and Shaggy’s “Boombastic”. But I must say, the highlight of the evening was the brilliantly crafted “Pachabel’s Cannon” by a group Rachasaurus introduced us to called “ZOX”. This oldie but goodie, mixed with a new electric guitar mix of what is usually played in a wedding march had us jumping around like never before.

I hope everyone tells their friends of the goodness that comes from DDPP! It’s sure to continue to be a rockin’ good time!

This week (our fourth!) boasted our largest DDPP yet! With 9 ladies in attenDANCE, our presence was strong and we rocked the house down!

While the house was busy working on the healthcare reform bill, the ladies at DDPP were boogie-ing up a storm. The warm beginning of November heated up the studio so quickly we preemptively opened the windows!

Amid a bizarre change of weather from last week, where the snowflakes were the size of grapefruits, this week the weather was warmer, making the ambiance for DDPP even HOTTER! DJ Cara Bear-a Stare-a rocked the house this week with a marvelous mix of diverse tunes. We had 2 new ladies show up: Shout out to Sara & Heather! And our returnees Jess, Beth and Sara! Excited for the Halloween dance party!!!

DDPP Number One (held on October 18) was a huge success! We boogied until the break of DAWN (well, at least until 8:30, when the studio is rented until) and just let ourselves go! Despite the freakishly early winter weather, 8 dedicated, funky fresh girls, dressed ready to party showed up and a good time was had by all! DJ Elby got the flow movin’ with some classics as well as some new dance tunes.
